This is a great evening for dusting off the grey cells and thus guard against the onset of dementia.

A team event ( Teams of 4) so plenty of space to hide.
Questions will cover the full spectrum of all matters nautical from the size of the figurehead’s bust on Cutty Sark through to the thickness of neoprene used on Peter Hewitson’s thong.

A light hearted fun event for all—get yourselves into teams and post your intent to compete on the form adjacent to this
Entry fee at £2:00 per head includes Hot-Pot.

The theme for the evening is Black and White and an expert panel of judges will be awarding prizes for effort, imagination, downright sassy, absolute classy and of course, simply outrageous

March 09 Tuesday Spring Quiz Categories for all, a fantastic team event and if that doesn't work seek solace in the
hot pot.
April 17 Saturday Indian Night Curry come to the creek. A night of Indian Culinary magic.
May 15  Saturday Culinary Extravaganza Not only canthey sail, the 'Roeboys' rattle the pans.
June 12 Saturday Open Day An opportunity to see the club, meet people and have a go at sailing.
June 22  Tuesday New Members Evening A true midsummer night dream with weather and tide booked, a real opportunity to network, find crew, ask advice or just enjoy the buffet.
June 26 Saturday Wine Tasting You just have to remember not to swallow it all as you palate succumbs to the aromas of rasberry, vanilla, gooseberry or cat pee. Oh, and best nibble the cheese just to maintain a bit of equilibrium.
August 13 Friday Regatta Bike Ride Friday the 13th..so we'll stay ashore. A family bike ride along the prom with fish 'n chips to finish.
August 14/15  Sat/Sun Regatta The Regatta weekend including the Summer Ball. A fabulous black tie event with wonderful food and dancing into the wee small hours of the summer night.
Sep-25 Saturday Lifeboat Supper A great meal and music to support the charity dear to all our hearts.
October 16 Saturday Social Secretary's Surprise Life's a Gamble. Join us for some light supper and an evening of roulette, blackjack and poker. No shirts will be lost.
November 27 Saturday Commodore's Evening A highspot in every commodores period in office and always a great yacht club night.
December 19 Sunday Christmas Lunch A wonderful way to spend the Sunday befor Christmas, relaxing with friends, forget the shopping and the decorations, join us for traditional Christmas fayre and perhaps a Carol or two.
December 31 Sunday New Years Eve (TBC)
