| Start Lines |
| Starting Line at Fleetwood |
An imaginary line between a pole on the South east corner of the Fleetwood Ferry Dock and the lighted post at the Seaward end of the Knott End Ferry Slip, cross south to north.

| Starting line at Skippool |
Unless otherwise specified, an imaginary line between the mast on the starting box and Club Buoy extending across the whole width of the River.

Finishing Lines
Boats shall cross the designated finishing line from the direction of the last mark of the course.
All races shall start and finish at Fleetwood unless otherwise specified. |
| Fleetwood |
Fairway Buoy and No3 Buoy
|
| Piel Island |
An extension of the line from the top of the jetty to the bottom of the jetty on Piel Island.
|
| Ramsey |
An imaginary line between the light on the South Mole of the harbour entrance and the concrete mole off the seaward limit of the Queen’s pier.
|
| Port St. Mary |
An extension of the breakwater of the outer harbour.
|
| Douglas |
An imaginary line between the light on the end of Victoria Pier and the Refuge Tower on St. Mary’s Rock.
|
| Skippool |
Unless otherwise specified, a line between the mast on the starting box and Club Buoy. This shall be approached from the direction of the last mark.
